[Ever since Elizabeth had become Queen, her days had been carefully regimented. To the point that now even after so long away from her ladies and servants, she still rose early. Which never bothered Gabriel at least. He did not much need sleep, but he crept off in the night often enough anyway doing what, Elizabeth had no idea. But it meant more often than not, out of sheer habit, she's make herself coffee in the early quiet hours and write whatever paper needed seeing too and whatever letter needed drafting. Other things too, some mornings she'd go for a walk to clear her mind, or just curl up on the tigers and talk to them instead

[ Using her hands to push off, Selina stood fully to see Elizabeth peeking into the room. Part of her wanted to be left alone. She knew better to tell Elizabeth to go away - it was her house after all. Giving a deep sigh, she reached back and pulled her hair up into a loose and long bun. ]
Here and there. [ Yet, she knew the answer wasn't detailed enough for her. ] I had some gymnastics as a little kid. The rest came from fighting on the streets. The poorer side of Gotham was dangerous. You could get mugged just walking from place to place. Especially around that train system that Wayne Enterprises built. [ That Batman more or less destroyed.
Taking in a deep breath she folded forwards and touched her toes. ] You had to learn how to be quick on your feet; to know how to make their strength your strength. Not that you'd have to worry about that. You have an entire army ready to come fight for you.

[It was easy to read that mood for a certain amount, as much as Elizabeth had long learned to live with people in her space, she also learned to crave solitude. To find empty spaces and hide in them for as long as possible.]
Here and there. [Her eyebrow rose a little and Selina apparently knew her just as well, because the rest filled the question she would otherwise asked.] Naturally. Necessity creates an art out of basic skills, after all?
[Elizabeth came further into the room, the present in her hands still. Elizabeth hadn't wrapped it, though there was a bow on it. She didn't see much the point of wrapping paper. Not when parchment was so utterly precious to her mind.] I don't actually. My country is destitute, I have no standing army, my navy is pitiful and none of my fortresses could withstand a siege. The only war I found, I lost and believe me the cost was... more than that. Far more. You'd be sickened with me, I was. [Too weak to rule. To make such a foolish mistake that children's lives lost.] But I pray every day that no

You either die or you survive by fighting. [ She shook her head slightly, some of the hair falling from her bun. ] Gotham is a dangerous place. You're either living with the rich, struggling with the poor, or pretending to be one of the two. There's not much middle ground. [ There is some, but not enough for it to really count in her opinion. ]
How the hell does the British Empire not have the best Navy inthe world? I thought that was what you prided yourself on. [ Selina had noted the present in her hands but quickly dismissed the idea it was for. She didn't get presents and she wasn't used to taking them. There were the small things she offered to Jen that she stole, but they weren't a gift that she worked hard for to surprise her with. ]
I'm guessing you have a busy day ahead of you. [ It wasn't hard to see that Elizabeth was religious in her own way. ]
