[Action to either?]

[With all this stuff about war and multiple universes ending and all the rest of it echoing around in her head, one of the first things The Major thought she was going to experience was a battle. But not in the middle of a train station, not with screaming people and echoing gun shots filling the air. This wasn't a battle though, it was easy enough to work out there was only one line nut up ahead, two guns though.

She blocked out the screams and force her way up-stream though the crowd, ducking behind a pillar when the noise of the shots got louder. Shit. This was police business, and this wasn't even her jurisdiction. But shooting at civilians, kids, people going about their day, that was wrong anywhere. And maybe she could do something to try and stop it. She could handle one gunman by herself. She pulled out her own fun, body tucked in close to the thick stone pillar.]

Put the weapon down! Before you make this worse for yourself!

[Not always best to just creep up on someone without announcing your own involvement with all of this, and as soon as he glances away from her to the carnage beyond, the safety is off and the barrel of her gun- a high-powered pistol, not the sub-machine guns she'd rather have in this sort of situation, unfortunately, is pressed to the back of his head. Just for a moment, until she's satisfied that he isn't with the guy still stood there shooting people.]

Is this nut one of yours? [The English is sort of wooden- she's not had to use it for a long while but it's natural enough once her language processors are up to speed.]

I'm not law enforcement here, if that's what you're asking. But I don't think our shooter cares much about that, does he? We take him down fast, and alive if possible.

The noise picking up around Brayko may as well have been static, for all that he seemed to notice it. The screams, the shouting, he paid it all no mind, concentrated on running despite not knowing where to. What he did notice, unfortunately, was that the gunfire had started to attract almost as much attention to him as it was sending people scattering away. Several more officers were arriving, Brayko spotting the now uniforms out of the corner of his eye.

They were yelling, too. Familiar orders this time, stop where he is, place the weapons on the ground, and while this sort of noise the mobster did notice, he paid it just as little attention as before ( ... )

Apparently Gene was never satisfied. Since he had arrived in Mandalus and started working for their so-called police force all he had done was complain about the weird goings on and how he missed the filthy, grimy streets of London and all their filthy, grimy crimes - which was saying a lot since London was a giant shite-hole and would never be as good as Manchester and it's filthy, grimy streets. And now he had some good, old fashioned policing to do and he was still complaining.

Then again, Gene had never really been found of shooting unless he was the one doing it! Especially when there were sub-machine guns involved. What was wrong with the classics? Like Gene's own beloved Colt Python. One thing he detested more than some scumbag bastard bringing a shoot-out to his patch was a scumbag bastard cop killer!

"I don't negotiate with terrorist bastard cop killers." Even if technically the negotiating was with CIA and not said cop killer - minor details. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't blow his fucking head off!"
