Thought for the day that I really like!

  Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely,
 in an attractive and well preserved body,
 but rather to skid in sideways, 
chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, 
totally worn out 
and SCREAMING "WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!"

Words to live by if you ask me.

mating and rightiousness
and jumbled up promises
believing what I mean
ignoring what I say
deep throating a candle that happens to be lit each end
while rocketing off of dead man's curve
screaming the entire time

not out of fear of tragedy...
but just like riding the biggest
most fucking awesome roller coaster
that manages to exist
bigger than our heads can hold
bigger than our gods could genesis.

works for me. I think I tried to do that back in my 20's. the question is, what do we do when we survive ourselves?
