One thing I have noticed about northern Ohio....there are a lot more of those tan fading into white license plates than there are in southwestern Ohio. One of the things that the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is famous for is the “tow path.” That is the path that the donkeys used to walk on along the Ohio and Erie Canal to pull canal boats. So, I live in a National Park now. It's pretty cool, except for the spiders that are EVERYWHERE in my house. The work days are incredibly long - about 13hrs a day, but I am learning a lot of cool stuff about nature, watersheds, biodiversity, sustainability and taking care of the Earth. sometimes i get so caught up and focused on what i don't have, that i don't even realize what i do have until it smacks me in the face.
i need to learn to look up every once in awhile.

A lot of people are afraid of a lot of things. Some of them are legitimate. I'm terrified of heights, for example. For the most part, I think that's a rational fear.
