I've had an epiphany. Sod my sucky fics, I'm having too much fun reading everyone else's fics, so keep 'em coming!

Sorry I've left some unfinished, but I'm finding it hard to care. Truthfully!

Hey! What are you talking about?! What sucky fics?! I don't remember ever reading sucky fics coming from you! Actually I LOVE 'Fairytales' so that 'leaving some unfinished' is rather worrying...

Only joking, you know that, have all the fun you want reading along (I do too!) but really your fics are just as good! That's why you were one of the author I mentioned in my Author Appreciation Week post...Are you saying I don't have taste??? *hugs you tight*

*feels guilty* I didn't know you'd done that, Sweetheart. I didn't even know there was an Author Appreciation Week. *hangs head in shame* I've been missing so much lately, except the fics.

Of course you have taste! You read the same authors I tend to read, so you MUST have taste!!

So okay, gonna try. I've spent this last hour doing some writing, but sadly not Fairytale, though I will try to write some more as soon as the Fairytale muse beckons me into his boudoir! What I have done is write the beginning of a plot bunny that's been bouncing around inside my head for months. I might post just this first part of the first chapter in my lj a bit later. It might shock to start with, but it's not quite what it seems!

No, Sweetheart, she won't be mad! I'm catching up on Runaways by those lovely ladies anamcara and angelspike69 then with whatever time I have left today I'm going to try the next chapter of Fairytale.

Nooooo!! Come on!! You can't be serious!! Your fics are so great!!! Why would you think they're sucky??? No way!!!! I've been reading them since last year and I've loved every single one of them!!!
And I feel you're getting better at it with every chapter, you keep finding new ways of expressing the characters (whatever that means... Sounded better in my head...)

I wasn't going to actually quit as in leave lj. I'm just struggling and it all seems to come out crap and there's been so much good fic going up everywhere lately and my sucky fics, compared to all of them, seemed to...suck!

But you pulled the wobbling lip and made me feel guitly so *throws hands up in surrender* Okay, okay, I'll try! *pokes muse*

In the meantime, I've actually managed to start something new. it's posted but don't be shocked But I'll do my best to return to Fairytale and at least finish that.

And stolen_childe mentioned the DD words today, so...*wrings hands*...what am I gonna do?!!!

Your fics are NOT sucky! I love the heck out of Fairytales. However, I understand that sometimes a person is just not motivated. So take a break. Read the Spangel landslide we've had lately. It's a happy time for Spangel. Enjoy it. you may find your motivation again. We'll be here ready to read when you're ready. *hugs*

Thank you, Sweetheart! There's been so much great stuff in Spangel-land lately that my poor old fics seem hopelessly inadequate. So I'll continue reading and hoping for inspiration to strike for Fairytale.

But I have written something, and despite first impressions, it's Spangel!!

well, if you need a break, take one. I completely understand, I've been taking a break for like 2 or 3 months (but you don't need a break that long do you? hopefully not) anyhoo, I hope once you get done reading other fics your muse will come around and bug the crap out of you until you write more, lol :) *hugs* happy reading!

and yeah, I know, I've had a looong break! I actually wrote a Bones drabble a few days ago but I haven't posted it anywhere yet. I've just had really bad writers block lately :(
