He remained stoic as he gazed upon the young man who had begun to transform more quickly now, the human aspect almost lost to the creature that was killing Liam. His skin had become thicker and looked almost scaly and the horny protuberances that had begun to grow out of his skull and chin were becoming longer, more pronounced. The hands, the talented artist’s hands, long fingered and elegant, were transforming into bent claws.
