It was a good movie, but as an adaptation of Diana Wynne Jones's book? Not so hot. The tone was all wrong and some of the changes were just useless and some of the best parts were left out. Michael becoming...er that kid with the name that sounded almost like Michael. The Witch of the Waste becoming a symapthetic character. Only a very brief glimps of a sister. The whole WAR IS EVIL plotline. I mean, it is, but come on. The only change I really liked was evolution of Sophie's and Howl's romance. It was very sweet. Okay. I'm done now. Later.
