The Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band for a long time.

The Tonight, Tonight video was always one of my favorites until one day I was watching silent movies on AMC and I discovered that music video was completely ripped off from a 1906 silent movie called "Une Voyage dans la Lune" (A Trip to the Moon).
Anyhow, I just ordered a DVD a couple days ago off ebay called "Landmarks of Early Film", and it has that silent movie on it. You should look around for it too because it's super rad.

Well if you watch the Tonight, Tonight video, the only credit they give to the original movie is when the boat picks them up at the end, the name of the boat is SS Melies, and the original director's name was Georges Melies. So yeah... ripped off.
