Wonderful Killick vignette, and Stephen having the spoon in his pocket is so utterly believable!

Well, I am glad you all loved it!

I had the idea after reading "The thirteen gun salute" and "The Nutmeg of Consolation", where Killick is getting nut over the new silver of Captain Aubrey.

Yes, this is very Stephen-like, he is such a lunatic! I've just read a scene where Pullings has to remind him to put on his breeches, because he's about to go to his dinner with Jack clad only in his shirt! He is adorable.

Lol! Whta was our dear doctor doing only in his shirt?
Sigh, I long for the moment when I'll have free time again and I'll be able to read the 11th book, only a couple of week sleft, but I can't barely wait! :P

Hum, well, he was all well dressed, coat, shirt, necklace and all, except for the lower part of his body.

But, for once, he had a good excuse, as he just learned a very good news: he had a newborn daughter.

Yeah, I know how you feel, I had to wait nearly one year between the 11th and the 12th book, because my copy was missing like 60 pages and it took forever to receive a remplacement one.
