Quick update on Chance...

Chance seems to have cheered up more, with the cooler weather. And they increased his grain again. So now he gets a full scoop each feeding, which is about two pounds, probably more (I can't remember). So he's getting more grain, and I will probably ask them to start giving him a flake of hay per feeding, so he's getting even more food. I'm

1) Chance was getting 3.5 POUNDS of food here. He could have been backed down to 3 PDS. But NOT under 2!! Hint, Hint that's why he lost a couple hundred pounds

Thanks for the tips. And the shoes are coming off, so that won't be an issue. I'm going to ask Linda to take even more sand out of the arena, because the footing is still too deep (it's driving me nuts). And about the food, he should now be getting hay at every feeding as well as grain. If the weight issues continue, I will definitely look into supplementing him with corn oil or calf-manna. And I'll look into attending the clinic next week. I don't think I've got anything in place, but a bunch of equestrian club things are happening now, including evaluations of all trainers and each horse. Could you tell me more about the clinic though? Thanks again!
