a whole day birthday bash ~
Been sort of busy this weekend, so I didn’t get the chance to write about my fabulous 24th birthday bash last Friday. It was a really packed day because we had to finish something in the morning, so I was already awake, showered, dressed, and made up by 8AM. Craziness! Everyone at work has some sort of nickname, but nothing sticks best that if you are the maknae, the youngest of the bunch.

the one where there was three
This weekend, I was supposed to meet a cousin… actually she was supposed to be flying in to LA for four days, and wanted to meet me and my siblings. Didn’t happened. Kuya Jo did visit with my two lovely neices - Abbey & Aira (I call her “squishy.” and I got to spent a little bit of time with them before I had to go to work.

Got back from my three day trip to Edmonton,Canada this week, arriving at LAX around Wednesday morning. Me and my sister had taken the flight with my mom, because she really dislikes air travel… so we tagged along. Distance really does make the heart grow fonder! Yesterday, I received this email from The Americana at Brand… an upscale mall area two blocks away from our apartment about their LA Street Feast event which was going to feature some of Los Angeles’ best food trucks (to find out what they are, read this). Last Saturday, like I was raving about in my tumblr… it was kbbq on a different level at Honey Pig (its at 8th & Kingsley, for any socal people out there) with Ernesto. Reya, my dear bestfriend was supposed to join us for lunch but ended up with other commitments, so yeah.
