Jeremy and I will soon be celebrating our one year anniversary on October 14. that is only 17 days away. I need some ideas on what to get him as a present. He is planning everything and surprising me. I what to get him something but I don't have a clue as to what. I have never had an anniversary before so this is new territory for me. I need

He's a boy. You should give him a nice, hard slap across the face to remind him who wears the pants in your relationship! Plus, I'm sure he's lied or done something to deserve a well-executed slap... :-)

You are probably right he either deserves a slap or he will in the future, but i don't think that makes a good anniversary gift.
