not so sweet dreams

i learned about this in psychology, hopefully it'll help!

the reason you're having nightmares is probably because you haven't gotten any r.e.m. (rapid eye movement) sleep, which is when your dreams happen. r.e.m. sleep happens about every hour and a half when you're sleeping, and the longer you're asleep for, the longer your dreams get in each cycle (alternating btwn. the 90 minutes, and then a dream). A lot of studies have show that if you keep getting woken up before you can get into this r.e.m. sleep, it starts causing really bad nightmares. I think what you need to do is just get a couple really good nights sleep, and get yourself back on a schedule. i would try getting really drunk or like, taking an over-the-counter sleeping pill (unisom is really good) just for a week or so.

i hope your nightmares go away!!!
