I tried to pick some songs or artists that everyone might not know as well, but of course I had to mix in some regular songs in the Top 40.
Hope that everyone enjoys the music that I uploaded. Let me know what you decide to download. :)
1.Mariah Carey - We Belong Together
I absolutely love this song at the moment. It's the second verse that's really my favorite. I hear this all over the radio right now, and I still haven't gotten sick of it. I was skeptical about Mariah's comback when she released her first single, but after releasing this single, I see that she's still one of the most popular female artists.
2.Bethany Joy Lenz - Crazy Girls
Many people don't know about Bethany Joy Lenz, unless they watch the show One Tree Hill. The first time that she sang on season one, I fell in love with her voice. There is something just so soft, light and beautiful about it. Her version of the National Anthem is also incredible. She performs it with a guitar and it gives me chills. I might upload that if anyone wants it.
3.Tyler Hilton - Glad
The first time that I heard this song was at work, where I hear most new music. I just found out that it was Tyler Hilton today when I turned on 92 PRO FM and the DJ was introducing it. I always wondered who it was since I really like the song. Figured that I would share it.
4.Graham Colton Band - Killing Me
Not everyone knows about them, since not everyone went to the Breakaway Tour. I figured that I would include some Graham Colton Band. They're going to be opening up again for Kelly, so I'm trying to know all their lyrics, so I can enjoy their part of the set more. Heck, I've already got their guitar pick. This is one of my favorite songs on their CD.
5.Carrie Underwood - Alone
Of course, I had to include a song from Carrie Underwood. Love this girl! She's already doing awesome. I wasn't sure whether to choose Independence Day or Inside your Heaven, so I didn't pick either. I chose Alone because that was my favorite performance of hers. It just gives me chills everytime. Definately take a chance to listen to this song.
6.Anna Nalick - Wreck of the Day
Most people know about Anna Nalick through the songs Breathe (2AM), however there are many other quality songs on her CD. One of those is Paperbag, which I uploaded in my last entry, but another is this song. I'm glad that I've come across her music, I enjoy it and I hope that you do too.
7.Jennifer Lopez - Cherry Pie
Her last album was pure crap. I didn't enjoy it and it was definately a waste of my money. However, I love her new CD. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did. This song is one of my favorites and I could see it being released at some point as a single. Another one that I recommend by her is "Whatever You Wanna Do".
8.Kelly Clarkson - Influence Medley
How can I create this list and not include something by Kelly Clarkson. That's just pure insanity right there. However, I'm trying to pick something that wasn't or is a current single. I decided to choose something from the Breakway Tour. Figured not everyone was able to get audio or yet alone went, so I picked her influence medley from the Breakaway Tour. Kicks ass, let me tell you!
I don't have 8 specific people in mind, so anyone can do this. Can't wait to see what everyone else picks.
