Yesterday at 9:30am I had a fifteen minute meeting with my advisor/counselor about my Fall 2009 class schedule. I have all my core curriculum completed, minus Science 110 (Biology or Astronomy) and Math 110 (Algebra II) class. See, going into the meeting, I assumed I would need to take both of these classes before the end of my sophmore year. I dreaded the idea of meeting with Fr. Roger a bit, but knew discussing it with him would prove useful.

About half way through the meeting he discussed classes I could take in Fall - things I would enjoy following. Naturally I assumed math and/or science would come up. He mentioned then that I could take the two classes, but due to my work schedule in the afternoon and the labs in science, I could push it back. He asked about math, and I explained I needed time to work slowly through the problems and talk to the professor once enrolled in the class. He told me to push that option back too. I was... a bit taken aback. I asked him why those ten credits were not holding me back any, and his comment was "You just need to take a lab science and math class before you graduate. You have three years left, and since you have all your other core finished, I am not worried about you at all."

Oh. My. Lord. I was ECSTATIC.

This means - assuming John, Britt, and Erl want me to continue on the cash team - I can continue working at GHC for as long as they can keep me on board! :D

Oh. Fr. Roger and I decided that Philosophy 220, Theology 301, and History 201 will be the three classes I sign up for on my registration day (Thursday, May 21st at 10am)~

I decided on my major, too! History, with focus on Western Civilization!

Today was great in several ways.

Got up at 5:15am, as my previous post states. Got ready for the day. Finished my outline for a chapter in a book my THRS 201 (Catholic Traditions) class is reading in parts. Posted that online, as assigned. Went on the internet a bit, wasting a bit of time. Left. Got gas. Hit I-5, and traffic was light.

Got to my university around 7:30am. Talked to Lisa, one of my group project partners. Later Ben came in and asked me some questions as well. (I guess I am the group leader in their eyes...) Class began at 7:45. It was alright - nothing bad, but nothing spectacular. I got my midterm back! My score was 93.25 (A)! :D (Go Amanda, w00t~) Went to CMJR 205 (Rhetorical Analysis) at 10am. Did a small group discussion activity. The professor wrapped everything up, then passed back our recent rough drafts for our new short essay due. I did better than on the last rough draft for the previous essay, so that's good. Maybe not as much of an improvement as I would have hoped, but oh well! I won't sweat it. He let us out an hour early (at about 11). I stuck around for fifteen minutes or so because I wanted to talk to him about his comments on my rough draft.

I left my school, drove to an Italian restraunt near where I work for a team meeting / lunch. I arrived in the parking lot around 11:40. It was *supposed* to begin at noon. I waited... and waited. Come noon no one was there. I texted and called my coworker/boss/friend Brittney, and after awhile, she texted me back saying they were on their way. I read some of an assigned reading for twenty minutes.

My team got there around 12:30. I was a bit put-out about it all, to say the least. But I said nothing. John, the team leader, commented as we walked into the restraunt that I would get paid for the time I arrived in the parking lot to when I clocked out later at work. (SCORE!) We were in the restraunt from 12:30 to 2:05 - plus, for me, the forty-five minutes before everyone arrived. I GOT PAID FOR NOTHING FROM 11:45 to 2:15! 2.5 hours! $40! XD We had a blast... but I ate so much, so I do not want to see any more food today.

Britt rode back with me to GHC, where she proceeded to text Marek using my cell with weird/dumb things. Quite funny, actually. We had a... slightly retarded conversation, which I can not remember anymore. XD

We got back to the office first, and I scored a parking spot in front of the door! Sweet stuff. That does not happen often, considering it was about 2:15, and most the people would be back from lunch, inside working.

I went in, changed, and got working! It was a good work day. I was 'working' from 11:45 to 4:30 (4.75 hours)!
Brittney told me that Adriana, a coworker, needed me to finish the file organizing I began awhile ago, and unintentionally set aside. I spent a bit of time on that before leaving, and am going to try to get it all done before the end of Thursday.

As I was shutting everything down Marek called and we talked for a bit. It was nice~

Stopped by QFC and bought some drinks for myself, another manga I ordered off of Amazon arrived, took a shower, and here I am!

ALSO. Today is my parents' 30th wedding anniversary! :D They are going out to dinner to celebrate. I was invited, but due to my lunch, I had to pass.

Today has been good.
