So I'm going to semi... which is odd, because while I cannot for the life of me get a date for my own prom, I can get one to the sophomore semi... Maybe I'll just take Eric to prom

Haha - for us, sophomores have a Headmaster's Dance in April instead of a semi (because juniors and seniors get a semi in January.)

But they cancelled their semi because girls were going 'too-over-the-top' and buying expensive dresses.

And they cancelled our Headmaster's dance because this girl was holding a sweet sixteen that night.

Which turned out to be the biggest incident of (semi)-unbridled drunkenness in the past 6 years at our school.
