My alarm clock this morning at 6am was my boyfriends firefighter scanner that told me they needed a team out to a house for a 63 yr old male
possible DOA.
And I couldn’t fall back asleep because I couldn’t stop thinking about him and his
family and send them prayers and good thoughts. I wake up to hearing

Out of nowhere tonight while I was driving back to his place with him he
said: “Every moment we spend together is fun. No matter what we’re
doing. And I get teary eyed over it every time you make me smile. I
hated my life before you, I was in such a bad place, but all I do
now…is just smile.”
