I didn't ask for this. I didn't ask to have to withdraw from my first semester of college. I didn't ask to be sent home on medical leave. I didn't ask to spend weeks at a time in my house, with no friends in arms reach. I DID NOT WANT THIS!But it was what I was dealt with. Me, at home. With no friends close by. Hoping and waiting for winter break

i understand the feeling. i wish i could help, but sometimes, empathy isn't all it's chalked up to be.

take care of yourself. you have a lovely lover and a stash of true friends. i hope, in an internet/intangible sort of "we don't go to school near each other and have been apart far too long" way, i'm part of that second group.
