(no subject)
still not much to report here... but i will note whatever i can think of:
- saw Batman Begins sometime last week...all 4 of us were laughing when we shouldn't have...oops. It had some good bits, but mostly I just couldn't take the serious-deep-Batman-voice by Christian Bayl (sp?) seriously. Or Quaigon (sp?) reinvented as a bad guy but ultimately playing the same role in a different film.
+- saw War of the Worlds. Part way trough the movie I realised i had in fact seen the ending of the original film with flying saucers that if, I remember correctly, you could see the strings suspending them. At any rate, i remembered then what the general ending would have to be. But perhaps that was a good thing because the movie was a bit unsettling. I did have a difficult time getting past the fact that it was a Tom Cruise movie. For some reason I really can't stand him... Jen and I had to sit separate from Rose because there were barely any seats left in the theatre by the time we got there :( Jen was so freaked out by the movie she kept twitching with fear during the movie, it was funny
++ I finally typed up an outline of what I need to be accomplishing...i actually got to check a few things off, but that was a pretty pathetic start anyway... but it's a start
+ yesterday Jen, Rose and I went to some massive outlet village place at the Gold Coast and I finally bought a pair of pants so I am not wearing the same pair of jeans every day.
+++ Jen and I are finally off our week long soup diet. I lost 3 kilos, and I would have lost more if I had actually bothered to exercise more than 3 of the 7 days...
++ We got some multi-cure remedy for the fish tanks last week and it seems there are no visible signs of white spots on the fish anymore...
- i'm really sick of going to the taringa pet shop. i believe everyone that works there will reconise us now because we've been there so many times! it's driving me mad! we've just had so many fish tank issues... now we have to take mabeline (a white molly)back to them because she's attacking and killing off all of the other fish and they said they'd stick her in a tank with some bigger fish to teach her some manners or something...
++ tomorow is Pinkle's second week of puppy pre-school, and this time jen and I are going along
+- Rachel is visiting her family for 2 weeks so she's not around to hangout with us, but she is lending us her car while she's away
--- only about 2 weeks left until uni starts up again and i have not done ANYTHING, and i'm really freaked out about just how much i need to get done this semester
+- i start training for work at the butchers on thursday evening
- my hair has grown well beyond my shoulders and i seriously need a haircut...
-my bike stills needs the gears repaired...
- i still havent seeked out photographer to work for to sponsor me..
....and that is all for now cause i need to start my day
