Well, I had a vasectomy last Friday, and was surprised to find they do not hurt.  I was even awake for the actual procedure, just local anestetic.  Not a big deal at all.  I am on pain meds for a week, but apart from putting ice on it periodically the first 2 days, life is just like normal.  Oh, and no sex or heavy lifting/workouts for a week

Seriously though, we don't want any more kids, and depo-prevera makes my wife not feel good, so we wanted to get her off that.
