The closed eBay auction for Arnold is STILL getting hits.

As of Sunday, February 1, the counter on the auction registered 5585 hits.

Thanks for the compliment. The Arnold auction got NO bids at all on eBay. I think people were intimidated by the hidden reserve price as well as Arnold's penis.

Arnold almost got into a local juried exhibition however it got voted down. There was a man/wife jury for the show and I found out later that the man hated the painting (once again, probably due to the nudity). His wife loved the piece. There was a big discussion about the piece but it was voted down in the end. Nice to know that it wasn't dismissed outright. ;=)

I've not managed to sell any paintings yet. I'm working on some new ideas right now in hopes of finding some sort of subject matter that people might like to purchase. I enjoy painting nudes but those are rather difficult to sell it seems.

Well i think that arnold painting was quite amusing and very cool. everyone i showed it to loved it... and i thought everyone loved nudes... shows how much i know!
