Ack! I think I must be losing touch with my slash goggles, because Inception slash hadn't even crossed my mind. Tbh, though, that may have been because I was too busy wishing that men would wear vests ALL THE TIME.

Ah, "staunchly shipping" might've be a bit of an exaggeration on my part. Their chemistry is a lot more subtle than the pairings in most of my other fandoms but I certainly noticed it while I was watching the film and thought "Huh, that could work." I was very much unsurprised when fics and manifestos started popping up all over my f-page, in any case.

Do watch it! Definitely do! It's fabulous! You may or may not end up shipping Sherlock/John at the end of it, though. Sherlock is rather asexual and John makes a reasonably good straight man in both senses of the word. The subtext of their friendship might be more homoromantic than homoerotic, tbh. However, I've found myself enjoying the gen in this fandom as much as the smut (if not more so).

LOLOLOL, I have not seen this show but scrolling by I saw this picture and was sure it was a photoshopped SPN poster with John Simm's face instead of Dean and... someone there instead of Sam. IT WAS REALLY CREEPY.
