It does help! It helps plenty, actually! I love this fandom and it's adorable as all get-out but it's really lacking in mature experienced writers. Cute fluffy short fics are great but I'd love something I could sink my teeth into too, you know?

I've been saying that Brendon should guest star on Glee as Blaine's brother, or a cousin or something. That would be the epitomy of Awesome for me, right there.

Unfortunately, though, I don't think Brendon is much of an actor. He could totally be a cousin with minimal speaking lines, though, in an episode about how Blaine feels inadequate because his entire family is full of crazy musical prodigies who play in the best symphonies or sing in famous opera companies. All of his cousins go to Julliard or Walnut Hill and he's just in this silly little high school acapella group. And Blaine can totally play the piano, guitar, violin and cello but he doesn't love it like the others seem to, the only thing he loves is performing with Warblers... and great this is becoming another fanfic, isn't it?

OH WELL. CROSSOVERS WORK TOO. Brendon can totally be the cousin who gets him because he plays a gazillion instruments too but really he just wants to be a rock star, sing off key and wail on an electric guitar.

Speaking of stupid faces, I am all about fic where Darren and Brendon are twins and practice making ridiculous faces together. Personally, I want to collect all the pictures where they're making similar faces. I'd line them up and just stare at them and ask myself how this is real life.

MMmmm...long lost twin fic! And wow, they just both happen to be incredibly musical, etc etc. How perfect of a fic would that be! Brendon meets this fantastic guy who he's friends with and then they become really close and "hey, it's like we've known each other forever" that kind of feeling
