Mandy left the office a few hours early today. Her and the rest of her team and made a lot of progress with their research and organization so they decided to treat themselves to a few hours of off time. Mandy was quite ready for it. Andrew still liked to walk Diagon Alley in his free time, watching families and students runnings around. He remembered coming here for the first time with his parents and his younger siblings. Things were a lot simpler back then. As much as he loved having the Boots apart of his family, Terry was as much his brother as Max was, he always wondered what life would have been like if his father never passed away. Though, he tried not to dwell on things he couldn't change. Drew had learned to roll with the punches. So much had happened over the years the bring him to where he was. Mandy was standing there trying to figure out what she should get her mum for the holidays when she was faced with something quite not expected. In front of her was Drew. Instantly the butterflies showed up. She hated herself that even still after all this time she still felt something for him. She had a feeling that she actually would never get over him.

As much as she loved Terry and his family sometimes she wasn't a fan of being invited over for family dinners just simply because of the fact that he was there... and she wasn't there as his invite. It killed hearing anyone even talk about another girl but it didn't work out and she knew it, so she tried to fill the hole.

She quickly regained her composure and smiled, "Hey Drew. How are you? Care for a Whizzbee?"

"Hey, Mandy," he greeted her, giving her his usual easy lopsided smile. "Just blowing off some steam after work, you know."

It was definitely strange having Mandy around as much as she was. Their breakup wasn't conventional in that way. And it certainly didn't make moving on any easier.

"You know I love Whizzbees."

Mandy smiled, as much as Whizzbees were her favorite candy, she had no problem sharing them with friends. Spread the goodness yeah? She reached into her bag a handed a few over to him, "Here. Enjoy!"

She reached out and grabbed one out for herself and quickly popped one in her mouth before turning back to her ex, well her friend, her well... her something.

"So Andrew," she still found it sexy to say his full name, "what brings you to the Alley today?"
