Summing Up 2006
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Chose a religion (Pagan), built my own computer, met an e-friend in person (Leo), wrote a (short) screenplay, went (beach) camping, learned to float, made a graphic (flash banner) for pay.
2. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
More work opportunities (for both my writing and my tech), a flat-screen monitor (it's coming!), more time with Leo, and my arm back please. Also, a new tattoo would rock.
3. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July was an interesting month. I punched Hector and met Leo that month. ^_^
4. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Surviving it. And starting my own BOS, though the digitalized version is still miles ahead of my physical copy.
5. What was your biggest failure?
Wasting time. This was a year of procrastination.
6. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I suffered illness all year. Again. What else is new, lol!
7. What was the best thing you bought?
My velvety dress for Mom's graduation dance. I hope to get a lot of use out of it... someday. :P
8. What was the worst thing you bought?
Well, I didn't pay for it, but... Xtina's "Back to Basics". That thing should come with a warning label. x_x
9. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Michelle Dockrey's "Mal's Song"; best Firefly fan song of all time, hands down.
10. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? About the same. I miss my boy; he's sick right now.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner. But only by about 5lbs, hehe.
iii. richer or poorer? Poooooooorer. But I got my first freelance work this weekend, so I'll be all right. I hope. :P
11. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing. Lots of it.
12. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Procrastinating. Complaining. Oh, yeah.
13. What was your favorite TV program?
Firefly!!! Farscape!!! And Lost. I think I have a thing for canceled shows, hehe; I hope that doesn't jinx Lost. x_x
14. What was the best book you read?
The DaVinci Code. But I didn't read much this year.
15. What was your greatest musical discovery?
East Village Opera Company. Heavy Metal Classical music is the shit.
16. What did you want and get?
Love, a quasi-job.
17. What did you want and not get?
Health. Stability. My right arm back!!!
18. What did you get and not want?
Medication. And a useless crush. I hate those.
19. What was your favorite film of this year?
Of this year??? Meh. But my favorite of what I watched this year is the Ginger Snaps trilogy. Canadian indie werewolf films rock. ^_^
20. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Rocker Chic, as always. A bit more Goth than before. And my Goddess pendant rarely leaves my neck.

Doc V, Leo, and you guys. ^_^
22. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Kett Turton. Like that's a surprise to any of you. :P
23. Who did you miss?
Alex, oddly enough. He dropped college "temporarily"; what a pisser.

My Leo. ^_^

My plans for tonight consist of finishing my freelance webwork, making sure my room is tidy, and a bottle of sangria. My only New Year's Resolution is to put more effort into everything that matters to me. Everything. ^_^
