Leap day musings

Today, as everyone knows, is Leap Year. (Leap Day?)  Since I have been musing lately on how very much has changed in four years, I thought it was fitting that I blog today about where things stood for me last leap year.

Mandy, this post was really sweet and awesome to read. :) It makes me think back on my past four years and make me want to write a reply post!

Thanks so so so much for sharing. I have had some hard goes--...haven't we all?--and I have been revving up to get back on this horse. Maybe next Leap Day, I'll have my own (small) stack of books to show for it, right? :)

This is all so inspiring. Heartbreaking, but inspiring. When you described having to rewrite from scratch, I thought surely that editor would take it on. I cannot imagine how it must've felt, after all the endless hard work and raising your young daughter, and your husband working nights. That's true commitment and perseverance. Thanks so much for this post, Mandy! I'm firmly in the second circle right now, pounding against the "I just don't love it enough" door. *sigh* But you're right-- I'll keep banging on that door as long as it takes.
