so last night poop, josh, sara(not my bro and sis), and i all hung out. now theres two perkinses(sp? LOL POOP) in appleton and we usually go to the one on the west side, but last night we went to the evil perkins, and we got seated. waited about 10 mins for our waitress, now its 10:15pm or so the place closes at midnight, so no one is really there ( Read more... )

This is why I sometimes think my tables find me annoying -- I'm there pretty much every 5 minutes to check up on them to see if I can make their experience any better. I want money!!! LOL, waitresses who go into it for money, but don't remember how they felt when some bitch serving her decided to ignore them are really setting themselves up to be very, very underpaid. Yes, the tip is most of the income, but the tip depends on the service. If you ever see her again, tell her to take acting classes -- at least that way she can PRETEND to be a nice person. LMAO XD I crack me up

But yeah, come to Gainesville, FL. Your glass'll be half & half, and I'll come over and ask if you'd like a refill. LOL

see and thats service, im sure you make pretty decent tips, cause you are making sure your customers are comfortable, i would give you more than what you deserve yanno, cause you are making an extra effort....
but if you do the opposite im not gonna tip you, your tip is a reflection of your service, and then for her to demand one, i dont even think so... if i EVER went back there and had her as a waitress i would tell her straight out she doesnt deserve tips...
so yeah "fuck off" was pretty much my tip for her.

i mean she was the only waitress there but there were only 4 tables, she went to two tables the whole time we were there.... WTF... now had the place been packed i would have totally tipped her cause she would have had every reason, she would have been one busy girl, and i had that happen and we gave the girl a 20 dollar tip cause SHE even made the effort to be at our table at least every 10 minutes... and she didnt have to yanno!

Dude, I've had so many bad waitress experiences. Like last summer in Idaho, a bunch of us went to a Shari's at around 10:30ish one night. The place was practically empty, yet no one came to show us to our seat, but a waitress did rush by and say that she'd be with us in a minute. We were like, "okay, that's cool" because we had all the time in the world. A couple of minutes later, the manager comes out and accuses us of calling the waitress an idiot! Ugh. She got all defensive about it and everything. We were practically guilty until proven innocent, and nothing was going to prove us innocent. Heh, we never did eat there. They'd have spit in our food or something! I don't go to Shari's anymore. Grr. >_

like this girl came outside to yell at us.... how are you gonna not service us then yell at us for your lack of waitressing skills?

some people just shouldnt be allowed to work in that area

My sister has this thing she does when we go out to resturaunts. When we are first approached by our server and our drink order is taken, my sis has the guideline set at the standard maximum percentage for tipping, it depends whether it is lunch or dinner. Then if the service isn't satisfactory the tip starts rapidly decreasing. There have been times when a server has gotten nothing. I think sometimes servers forget tips stands for To Insure Proper Service. I wouldn't have left that waitress a tip either. My sis propbably would have reported her to the manager as well.
