No, seriously, you want to go out? I have to wait until I can find a way to get out there, but, really. May not be the best looker but I'm straight as 100 klicks of Saskatchewan highway, or so I've been told.
I have a feeling 2009 is going to be a year of Trying New Things for me, so it's a deal - you find your way out here and I'll go out with my first cross-country internet stranger. Just be warned that I'm pretty squirrelly! :D
Um, hate to burst your bubble, but blind people use the internet too. One of my jobs is to facilitate accessibility issues for our students so we don't get slapped silly with a ADA lawsuit. We have braille machines and text-to-speech applications that can read web pages to people. Craigslist as I understand is actually a very popular site with the blind, since due to its simple layout, it works very well with their screenreader software.
Although, if anybody ever hooked up off of "Missed Connections", I'd be seriously amazed.
My bad - I did assume blind people had some sort of internet accommodations, at least by now, but I guess I figured that something like Missed Connections wouldn't be on the list of sites to accommodate. :)
