Laboring today

Goal of this Labor day was to drink a beer for every hour worked this year. I realize it is a long shot, but I thought with a lot of friends on board I could do it. Then I remembered I had to work for 9 hours today, which not only cut back on my drinking time, but also adds 9 more beers

I can't drink beer because it reminds me of what a miserable failure I am... but I'm proud of you.

michael was eliminated by scott in the quarter-finals of the bean bag toss game. too bad. i wanted his name to be on the trophy. i think that my favorite part of the weekend (besides you and boating and swimming and eating potato chips) was all the creepy second-hand toys your mom got. ...and now...i miss you again! or maybe i'm just sad because the wallaces sold the board of trade. not as classic anymore. at least i got to see the old sign one last time in their garage.
