Rainy rainy day. Good sleeping weather. Everyone all day was talking about blankets and heaters. Man, if only this was as cold as it will get ( Read more... )

per your mom... 17aurelianos October 12 2006, 02:29:33 UTC
When I was young I used to tease my little brother till he would cry. (I'm not proud of this) He would run up to my dad crying and say "Jered made me cry" and my dad would say (besides telling me to stop to stay pragmatic about it) "No one can make you cry Jason, you choose to cry. Tough love to be sure- but there must be a kernel of truth there if it stuck with me for so long.

I just found my ticket from seeing Beck with Mike. We saw Remy and Nicole there too. chicjaime October 13 2006, 01:49:06 UTC
I listened to Sea Change last night and thought of that night that me,you, and Mike all slept in your bed. Mike had to open, you had to be in at 8 and I had to be in at like 10, Mike didn't sleep, you hardly slept and I got to sleep 3 hours. The music was good, though and the laughter was worth the migraine I got from working while still intoxicated with only a fraction of the sleep I need.

never liked 'bottle of blues' 17aurelianos October 13 2006, 02:00:30 UTC
I heard this beck album involves the same producer as sea change and mutations which are 2 of me least favorite beck albums- not to say I detested them or that I didn't find certain tracks on there that I didn't like individually- I'm just not that excited about the new release. Really I just always loved 'stereopathetic soulmanure' and nothing ever lives up to it- this is my own personal problem I know and I shouldn't blame Beck.

Man Jered-
seeing Beck has made me so pumped again for new music and ways to perform it. I liked what I saw performed of the new album. Some of the songs are pretty sweet individually too.
I liked it so much I think I am going to have to write a whole entry about it. Plus, I like the depression in Sea Change. Great mood album.

sometimes when i get really mad, i get dizzy and my vision blurs, and then i might really freak out. it's scary and weird; i can tell when it is going to happen, and can stop it, but sometimes i prefer to give into it, just to indulge in an extreme emotion. this has probably happened less than five times in my life.

Nice to have a brother in town pattyod October 14 2006, 16:23:27 UTC
When we got off the phone, I thought about you having a night with Jesse and Tim. How nice that you could talk about the above "situation" with someone who loves and knows you AND is in town near you! It certainly makes me feel good. I know it is the same for you. Keep your cool and eat good foods - whole grains and complex carb natural stuff. I'm so used to it now, I could never go back to white (nasty) bread.
