yes yes yes we've talked a whole lot about this... what you say is true. did you read the Time magazine article about 'twixters'? (that's what they call us) i find it helps to look to other cultures, because not all are as single-minded as American culture. by the way, i want to move to France. also, i know that i'll never find a job that integrates all my interests, so my new goal is to find one that is not all-consuming, so that i can have ample free-time to pursue them. it helps that i don't mind being poor.

Really, your right about the job thing. i wish mine took up less time, so I could think more about being a twixter and what that means for my longevity. Oh, and Todd told me you had a great birthday dinner, then he wrote a really existential email to me...what happened at this dinner??

This comment has nothing to do with your confusion and questioning, which, believe me I would gladly answer for you if I knew an answer. I was just going to let you know that when I see an entry by you (mandyrhea)in my friends page I get 'Sister Ray' (by the Velvet Underground for the readers who aren't down with the VU) stuck in my head. But in my head the lyrics change to 'Mandy Rhea' instead of Sister Ray- it fits syllabically and makes me smile... "just like Mandy Rhea said...".

Well, my name kinda fits in a lot of songs I suppose. You know, I came and I gave without taking. And there is the one from White Christmas, where I have a train handy. I hope you can get the song unstuck though, cause that can be a pain in the ass when trying to sleep.

Secondly) I read an article about how those people currently in their 30's are the most in-debt portion of people in the U.S. due to college.
Thirdly) You make Jered/Jerod/Jerad(I don't know the correct spelling, sorry)smile. I try and it's hard, it's hard to make him laugh sometimes.
