Author's Notes: 2530 words. Inspired by this picture here and much flailing in the comments about how Atlantis would love Stéphane Lambiel (because everyone does). Also, inspired by something aurora_84 said to me in the same post.

OMG HOW IS THIS REAL LIFE!? A SGA/skating crossover! Eeeeee!!!

I love everything about it. The opening line about everything spinning. The John/Rodney teasing. Sparing with Teyla and Ronan. Teyla admiring his athleticism and Ronan being impressed. Atlantis crushing on him and rearranging his room AND MAKING HIM A RINK! John thinks Stephane is pretty. Woolsey lets him give skates to the Athosian kids. THE SPINNING JUMPER! OMG HEARTS IN EYES! Stephane teaching the Athosian kids to skate and putting on an ice show. Missing Johnny, putting off emailing Johnny, loling about Johnny's reaction to the self cleaning surfaces.

This is amazing and perfect and I feel SO SO SO HAPPY that this exists in the world.

...and I forgot to add - STEPHANE HAVING THE GENE! EVEN STRONGER THAN JOHN! RODNEY TEASING JOHN ABOUT IT. ATLANTIS LOOOOOOOVES STEPHANE!

I'm just stunned to see so many SGA/ Figure skating fans! Who knew?

It only occurred to me while writing - he'd be amazing at martial arts. Balance, speed, reflexes - and god knows, he can take a beating. I bet Teyla would be awesome at ice skating too!

And of course Atlantis loves Stephane. EVERYONE loves Stephane! Even Rodney loves Stephane (he'd never admit it, of course).

OMG, I don't even remember how I got here but I'm glad I got to read this. You deserve the sparkly text and the flailing b/c this is AWESOME!

I used to be such a SGA nut that the fact that you combined an old love with a new one makes me instantly worship you. You have all the voices down which makes me enjoy it even more b/c nobody's OOC and the way Stephane arrived at Atlantis, teaching the children to skate, even the rink-they all sound plausible.

I am surprised that there are so many other SGA/ figure skating fans out there. I honestly thought aurora_84 and I would be the only ones appreciating this idea. It's very cool.
