Your brain runs on British accents, though, right? I have the same problem when I hear Terry Pratchett audio books; in my head, all the characters speak American, except when accents are specifically phoneticized out.

True, but I think it's more the fact that the show has actors with British accents, you know? I mean, when I play PW or read SGA fic I hear American accents in my head... :/

Does PW have actual voices in the game? If there's an established voice for the character, like Ten, I'll hear that, but for strictly written stuff, like books that have no movie adaptations, I hear American.

No, they don't have any voices (well, barring the odd "OBJECTION" or "TAKE THAT") but... XD I'm weird. I heard American voices for the Oban Star Racer characters as well, and that's a French/Japanese collab originally. Maybe it's because we get more American stuff here than you do British stuff there?
