For the first time in a long time I can honestly say that I am getting tired of yaoi. I really enjoy the sweet love stories that I used to see on these sites. I do have characters in my stories that hate women, but not all of my men do. and most of the time if I have them feeling such away it is for a reason.

I don't see a lot of women bashing because i spend most of my time on Y gallery and you can't write about women there. but I do have a theory for you. Yaoi is often times written by girls who are afraid of men, they like them think they are sexy but are afraid of them so they write stories where men love men that way they can have romance without being involved. Probably quiet a few of these girls don't like themselves and have the men abuse the women because that is how they see the world. Or they are truly that afraid and have that low of an option on men that they write what they are afraid a man will do to them.

Thank you for that reply. That was an interesting theory. Could it be, too, that this is how these women see themselves in their relationships with men? Maybe they see themselves as being bitchy, vain, cruel, and completely ignorant of what it really going through a man's mind. Since you bring up the issue of fear, could it be that that is what they fear they are in a man's eyes ( ... )

Hmmmm....I honestly can't say I've seen any of those...I've seen a few bashings, but that was because the person was being an absolute bitch and not because they were part of any pairing. Hm, that is strange and most definitely wrong. I would think that gays are pretty cool people, definitely not abusive! My cousin's gay and I love him to death! He wouldn't hurt a fly.

Sorry! Sorry! That above comment's mine. I don't remember not being logged in when I wrote that... My cousin may hurt a fly, but he doesn't beat any woman. He's a pretty funny guy.
