I spent much of the weekend at spacealien_vamp's marathoning Avatar with s_vamp and her mother megory while being thoroughly spoiled with fresh, home-cooked food. I would never have the courage to try making my own pizza, but I did pick up the recipe for a delicious snacker meal consisting of a fresh basil leaf, fresh mozzarella, and a slice of -- you guessed it, fresh

I'm still in awe of the fact that you managed to sit through all of Avatar in one weekend. It was also a delight to watch s_vamp get so excited over the third season episodes. She was a little more stone-faced when she sat through her first marathon viewing with me.

I'm horrified that condo prices would be that high, even for a fairly large space in a lovely neighborhood like s_vamp's. I know that Bay Area housing costs are some of the highest in the nation, but the median household income is ~$73,000. Plus, condos seem like a less sound investment to me than a single-family home. Of course, most houses in the area are are priced $1,000,000+.
