I've been meaning to ask if you get any holiday time off. I feel like we should get together sometime, but it looks like my days off are going to be Tuesday/Wednesday (Dec. 22/23 and 29/30), so I don't have the actual holidays or weekends free.

I'd have liked to read a geekily long post, why do you deny me?

I'll see your turkey tv dinner and raise you an egg salad sandwich! (Ironically enough, I just discovered that I too have a turkey tv dinner gathering frost in my freezer!)I did get all seasonally sentimental and made a pumpkin cheesecake pie, but I still have half left. I don't think I have it in me to eat this entire thing. GAH?

Theoretically, we can't know what kind of ripple effect changes occurred in the reboot universe and what impact they had on Spock's childhood. Maybe Amanda coddled Spock more when he was a child, which made him more emotionally attached to her, which was why he ran out to find a new mother figure girlfriend as soon as he left home.

(I felt like Scotty was the most changed, but I'm not sure I've watched enough TOS episodes to really judge.)
