last night at around midnight some neighbors got an old impala running in the parking lot outside my window. after they got it running, about the time i went to bed, they proceded to set the timing which involves revving the engine for minutes at a time. it put me right to sleep. apparently i find the sound of a loud car very soothing. I know what you mean. Whenever I ride in a car or truck (or school bus) the loudness and the rumbling always puts me to sleep.
