[NEWS] KAGUYA
Another post!
This time, it's about another Johnnys group :)
I actually become more and more interested in NEWS in the last year. It's a bit sad, but I started paying attention to them around the time Yamapi left to focus on solos, and even more around the time Nishikido decided to leave NEWS to focus on Kanjani8.
Whoops.
But in any case, the 4-member NEWS has risen quite high on my watch-list. I think they've reached past KAT-TUN now (who are pretty much my first stan hah).
I had chosen to pre-order the Kaguya single set on a whim. Deciding not to get the KAT-TUN one around the same time since I have a few KAT-TUN CDs but not any from NEWS.
That was a wonderful choice.
I absolutely LOVE the single!
Not only is the song really catchy, but also, the art concept is amazing!
I really like a lot of the cultural Japanese fabrics and patterns, so this was super cool to get.
The single was released back on January 7, 2015. There were 3 versions, with 5 songs and 1 karaoke version.

The PV was also pretty cute. The boys were in traditional patterned Japanese clothes. I can't remember off the top of my head what they're called, but they remind me of what ninjas in Japanese historical depictions wore. Of course, these are more brightly colored. The dance incorporated the use of a wooden umbrella as well. The patterns those made as the boys twirled them around where pretty *u*
