I have this little book of a few hundred artists in alphabetical order, that shows an example of a work on each page along with some contextual information and a blurb about the artist. It's a fantastic book. But for some reason I keep fixating on the deaths of the artists. That's one of the most intriguing parts to me. Suicide, car crash,

I think I know which book that is . . . don't remember the name, but it's a tiny little square thing with just one image for each artist right? I vaguely remember a morbid image of a pope by a guy named Francis Bacon (?) and someone's blue canvas with four slashes in it . . . "Study in the 4th Dimension" or something . . ..

Not sure. Could just be off my rocker. Wouldn't be the first time.
