i was reading and it was dark. a loudly-buzzing fly landed on my page and i quickly closed the book, half-hoping it would escape and leave me alone, but at the same time that it would just die. i heard and felt it crush between the pages, but turned back to the page i was reading without checking to see if it had died to scrape it off the sheet ( Read more... )

I'd say neither. The fly has no knowledge of life or death, only instinctual desire to feed. The average housefly has a life expectancy of only one day, no biggie.

i'd say tragic... u killed a fuckin fly.. ur gonna go to hell now.. u .. u.. u.. u fly killer... now i'm gonna go curl up in a corner and mourn the death of that poor fly .. while i cry... (not supposed to rhyme)......
