It's been less than a week since he's been gone, and already I came home to find a cat in my house. Apparently, dad wanted one. Naturally, it has to like me most of all, even though I am not ready for another pet.

oh.. a sheltie. I'm very partial to that breed - I had one when i was quite small. I believe losing her was my first taste of death. It was so unfair.

It's kindof insensitive of your dad to just rush order another animal before you've had a chance to grieve. It's perfectly fine to bitch about it.
