It depends a lot on the woman. Some people would probably do things that more "traditional" women would be interested in that would very much offend more modern women. I mean, there is a lot of upheaval and role reversal. In many ways things are more confusing. In many ways now in some areas it is the women who are feeling hunted in the great marriage debate. Remember the stereotypes of the hunted bachelors? Well now in many ways that is being played out in reverse. I know I typically shoot down all guys who seem to be looking for a wife (or mother for that matter, Ugh!!!) Certainly not if they don't take the time to get to know me first. If they are that pressed it becomes an automatic no.

So I guess it's probably good to just get to know the girl somewhat. Even modern girls still like to hear that they are pretty (well guys do to, I'd imagine) and flowers are of course a nice touch because it makes them feel like you are interested. I dunno. Just treat them like friends and then try to figure out if you are compatable? The
