We've come so far. The fact that I'm sitting here, with eight years of Bush administration in my life and watching Obama's final victory speech makes me... happy, so proud, that on my birth certificate, it says under Country of Birth: "United States of America."
No, we don't have confirmation that the next four (or eight) years are going to be wonderful under Obama. We don't have confirmation or solid proof that Obama will be a good president, that we'll look back at his administration and nod. But I tell you what we will do. We will look back at this election and nod.
