Funny day. Filled with: spicy black bean burgers and cranky puppy cats, Cthulhus and the biggest organic grannysmith apple I have seen. A bowl that is arguing with me, and lots of canceled and changed plans. I hope that means I have room for whatever is supposed to fill the space now. Phew. I made it through the weekend. There were times when I seriously wondered if I would make it, times when I almost gave up. Instead I pushed through and made it out on the other side. I am so glad I did. I feel stronger. It was a truly amazing experience working with a group of very powerful, loving and supportive people.

My past few days have been so hugely artistically productive. I have had such a good time sitting in the quiet of my apartment, playing music on my computer, and painting into the late night. Interesting past two days. Mercury has actually been kind to me. Opened old doors and windows and aired out a friendship of 9 years. Enabled that friend and I to speak to things that had been brushed aside, or were previously too painful to talk about. I am happy for this, even having lost much sleep to do it. I burnt my tongue. According to the taste bud chart, I should no longer be able to taste salty/sweet. I have tried of course. It's not true, I can still! But damn, it certainly does hurt. Stupid Chicken Noodle soup. I was enjoying it so much till then.
