Josh Hamilton (the Rangers's starting center fielder) participated in this year's Home Run Derby. As most of you know, I am a marginally rabid Rangers fan. I hoped he would have a respectable showing and hit five or six homers (first place, at this point, was eight).

He proceeded to break the record for most home runs in one round with TWENTY EIGHT.

I thought about you when I saw this on the news yesterday. We typically watch the homerun derby (and the slam dunk competition for the NBA) but missed it this year :(

I think those are more fun to watch than games for some reason *shrugs*
