20Q Foiled by Knowledge of Cosplay

Dec 29, 2006 15:28

Woo finally back in town! I did something to amuse myself. I went to the 20 Questions website and thought of the phrase "a costume." It probably did not help that I had both Halloween costumes and Cosplay in mind. It could not guess the word, because of the contradictions it found.

"You were thinking of a costume.
Would you give it as a gift? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Is it brown? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Does it have paws? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Is it outside? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Do you put things in it? You said Yes, 20Q says No.
Can it float? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Is it very, very expensive? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Does it have writing on it? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Can you walk on it? You said Yes, 20Q says No.
Does it make noise? You said Sometimes, 20Q says No.
Can you blow it up? You said Yes, 20Q says No.
Contradictions Detected
The opinions of the 20Q A.I. are its own, and are based on the input of players. 20Q's answers reflect common knowledge. If you feel that 20Q is in error, the only way to correct it is to play again!"

I felt this was amusing and decided to share. If you've got any arguments with my answers, let me know. I've also got a new email address that will be in my profile for friends only. If you aren't on my friends’ list, and wish to be, leave a comment. This is by no means a "friends only" journal, but I have been posting with that security filter on a lot lately. So there are two reasons to comment if I don't yet have you as a friend. Again a happy new year to all. Sighing off.
