Today, my problem is also with WoW,
First of all, I don't associate with Blood Elves, hating their RP, and my characters have completely IC reasons for hating them. My Tauren Druid thinks their magic-laden existence is unnatural, and my new Troll, Gundi, a rambling old Troll Priest / medicine man plays the old man card, saying "What did 'dey ever done for us? All 'dey got is numbahs an' 'dat unnatt'ral Naaru mojo. Ol' Papa Gundi'd radder trus' one o' dose rottin' corpses wid' 'is safety."
When you push my troll aside, then walk away, you'd better expect Gundi to accost you. He may be only level 6, but mister super speshul paladin? You're level 1. When you proceed to walk away instead of get griped at, you're gonna get clunked in the head with his staff (You would have gotten a duel request, but we were in Orgrimmar). Macroing several godmoding emotes together after I do so, (Which involve poor Gundi lying in a pool of his own blood at the end) then setting me on ignore? Just hilarious. Hello? Priest? I was following you afterwards giving you bits of "Ol' Papa Gundi's valuable life advice". Most of which involve respecting your elders. Everyone was laughing at you. Gundi deals creatively with the brushoff.
Blood Elves? While I admit there may be some that are kind and just, most, especially the Paladins, are self serving, and while doing their part to further the Blood Elf agenda and maintaining relations with the Horde, just work at finding more ways to shoot up pure magic. At least, if I felt like playing a Blood Elf, that's what he'd be like. Heck, some abnormally Good Blood Elf in a RP may be interesting. Just look at the webcomic "Looking For Group". But you? No, most Blood Elves, as a rule, do not associate with Tauren, and most Tauren are leery of them. You Hearth in Thunder Bluff? You try to learn how to commune with nature? You're a WARLOCK. Don't flame me OOCly when my Druid considures you a freak of nature.
Why do I hate Blood Elf RP? I dunno. Just a hunch, I guess.
