This might sound a little off but I totally just hit on your profile by mistake... "I'm in my 3rd year of a psychology degree, speciailising in clinical and health psychology, and have always thought I would go down the route of becoming a charted clinical psychologist but I'm starting to change my mind." I'm waiting for my A-level results to see if I'm in Bangor University, and I've applied to study Psychology specialising in Clinical and Health with my ultimate aim to get a phd in psychology.
I just think it'd be awesome to know you... Lemme know.
Ace, Bangor is a great place. Smaller than most and with fewer pubs/clubs but I always found it great because you would always see people you knew out!! How come you decided to go there??
Oh and with the A-level results, they are usually really good, I didn't get my predicted grades but had no problems getting in. Its a shame but because its so far away people don't realise how good the department is so there is more flexibility with the entrance grades, well in my time anyway!!!
It was actually a total fluke, I found the prospectus in the common room furing a free and flicked through it, I was already convinced I was going to go to York and I just fell in love with it. Then I went for an open day, again for an interview and again just for the hell of it. I actually love the place. Oh that's reasuring about the grades. I'm kinda glad it's smaller, I like the feel to it.
It's such a gorgeous place, are you going into halls/know which ones you have got? I spent my freshers year on the friddoedd site which was great and on a sunny day you can see the mountains on your walk down to lectures : )
I've just finished my degree, but love the place so much I'm going back for a masters in a year!
