quick notation before i go to bed

Okay, I've met a few male RPers in my short, short "RP career." And it is with my personal experience that I've found the majority (not all, but a good 4/5) of them reveling in showing off their big, super-huge RP cocks.

AKA, how fucking badass their character is, and how awesome and cool and such he/she is. They're not even subtle. Do boys not ( Read more... )

I've met two that I can remember. One always played the fanboy fodder HAWT/potentially slutty video game girls and was a godmoding idiot. The other I've played some seriously disturbing slash with and was completely boggled to discover was a dude.

Male RPers are weird. :/

The second scenario sounds interesting. I'm really curious, now.

The guy is totally awesome and definitely more toned down than most fangirls (even the not so fangirly ones) I'm used to talking to, but it boggles mind mind how fucked up the slash can get. Icon is related.

Hmmmm... I know two guys who RP at polychromatic and they're both a lot of fun to play with. One of them plays Guy from ToA and a ton of other characters, and all of them have always been fun to interact with.

Maybe it just depends on where you play?

Maybe...besides that, I've heard nothing but good things about polychromatic, the Guy there in general. Maybe he's just a special case, IDK.

I think I've counted a total of three or four guy RPers that aren't obnoxiously confident and over-obsessed with how badass their character/they are.

I agree, though. God-moding/ego-stroking, much, guys?

Girls are guilty of it too sometimes, they're just usually a lot more quiet about it. IDK if it's because I'm looking for it or something, but it just seems a lot more obvious when it's a guy.

Guilty of this, I suppose? It's only happened with Gilgamesh because, woa, he is the King of Godmode when it comes to super-powered badass.

LOL, nope, not you. Actually, you are one of the guys that made me say "almost" and "4/5." I'm finding Gilgamesh fairly interesting, although the answer could be different if he didn't have his chip, considering he seemed pretty pissed off when Jak called him "roundear."

BTW, any constructive crit you wanna give on Jak, I'm all for. I'm kind of floundering with him; it's hard when there's no Daxter to talk FOR him, so he seems a lot more wordy than he's supposed to be.

The reason why I took Gilly from an entirely different game than the one he originally appears in is BECAUSE of that -- in the normal Fate/Stay Night scenarios, he's never had time to actually relax and be human unlike in Ataraxia, which makes it hard for him to be anything else but: "YOU WILL OBEY ME OR DIE." a lot of the time. In that respect, I'm kind of glad he has the chip in too, since it makes it easier to justify his overall not-genocidal outlook on life :D

AS FOR JAK: I love him. He's appropriately disbelieving and snarky when he needs to be, and is (at least from what I see) really trying to be the good guy to some degree. The only thing I can really criticize (again, from what I've seen) is that he seems to "Dot Dot Dot"s a lot without Daxter around to crack a joke? Maybe it's just me, but, like you said, a Daxter would only make things better for everyone all around, so.

Yeah.

You ever gonna petition for it to get removed? I'd like to, since there's Metalheads full of Dark Eco readily available, but I dunno.

Righto! So wait, I'm a tad confused. I should ellipsis less or more?
