(no subject)
i've been in Indiana now for exactly one week... much to my surprise the weather has been downright balmy (pleasant to my Florida-thinned blood) and i haven't had a terrible time with my family.
when i arrived in Chicago i went with my mom directly to the Riviera Theatre to see Imogen Heap which was AMAZING. she is fabulous and although i will admit that it was really weird being there with my mom (meaning that i couldn't push myself right up to the stage and be in the mob with all the others), i had a great time. as i predicted, listening to "Let Go" and "Hide and Seek" were too much for me and i had to pretend that i wasn't tearing up. ah.
and yeah. so i'm here until the 3rd and i wish it was last year and i was in Mexico. but DK Luce called me on Christmas Eve and Christmas was fun, mostly. i saw my almost 1-year old cousin Will for the first time so that was a highlight and he is adorable. uh... still waiting to see Ilene and Cindy which will happen soon... hopefully NYE in Detroit and back to FL on the 3rd, hooray.
